    What test to run?

I was hoping someone could help with this problem. It seems like it should be simple but I cannot figure it out. I have a population with 2 different nominal variables, X and Y. X can be 0 or 1 while Y can be 1-10. What test would I use to tell if there is a significant difference in the occurrence of X=1 in each of the different Y values?

Sorry if this in the wrong board.

    How big is your sample?

Look at chi square or fishers exact test given your expected cell frequencies.
