correlation of age at onset of "sexual abuse" of minors and impairment

    Hello,

I have a question about the following things:

Some studies define sexual abuse of minors as unwanted sexual contacts before the age of 18 with someone at least 5 years older. These studies show that the age of the minors when they are abused is not correlated significantly with measured impairment of these persons sooner or later, for example depression in adulthood.

Some studies define "sexual abuse" of minors as all (unwanted and wanted) sexual contacts before the age of 18 with someone at least 5 years older. These studies also show that the age of the minors when they are "abused" is not correlated significantly with measured impairment of these persons sooner or later.

We also know that a big part (maybe 60 %) of all (unwanted and wanted) sexual contacts before the age of 18 with someone at least 5 years older are wanted contacts.

    My question:

Is it possible to conclude that wanted sexual contacts before the age of 18 with someone at least 5 years older are not or not strongly correlated with impairment of these persons?

If the correlation between age at "abuse" and impairment for all (unwanted and wanted) sexual contacts is r=-0,04 (younger minors are a little bit more impaired) - is it possible to say how much is the correlation roughly between wanted contacts and impairment or what is the range of the possible correlations?

One problem to answer that question might be that most of the impairment (maybe 80%) is related to unwanted sexual contacts with older persons and persons who just had wanted sexual contact with older persons are much less impaired.

Thank you very much in advance.

    Filip

    correction

Sorry, there is a small mistake in the sentence "Is it possible to conclude that wanted sexual contacts before the age of 18 with someone at least 5 years older are not or not strongly correlated with impairment of these persons?". My question is:

Is it possible to conclude for wanted sexual contacts before the age of 18 with someone at least 5 years older that there is no strong correlation between the age of the minors when the sexuality happens and the impairment of these persons?
