Unhappy Nervous breakdown trying to analyse PsychoPy data. Help appreciated.

    Hi,

I am at breaking point I need to analyse data in SPSS from a stop signal task but there are almost 1000 trials per participant (2 sessions; 10 participants). I have no idea how I am supposed to calculate mean reaction times etc. as I have never used PsychoPy before. Can anyone help shed some light on this?

    Hi,

I am not sure if you still need help, but if you want to calculate mean reaction times out of many trials, you have to use the aggregate function in SPSS. With this function it is possible to obtain mean reaction times for specific conditions you might have. I do not know what your data looks like, so if you provide more information about what exact trial types you might have, I could assist you further.
