    indicator variables

Hi, studying for a test and registered to ask some questions..

    Q) X and Y are indicator variables for events A and B. State whether XY is an indicator variable for A intersect B never, sometimes, or always?

I know indicator variable only takes on 2 values, 1 if event happens, 0 otherwise. I have no idea how to approach XY being an indicator variable for A intersect B though. Any leads would be appreciated, thx.
