    might be a stupid question...

I am comparing 2 groups (matched sample) with t-tests and am noticing that there is no significant difference. However the st. deviations of each group seem very different. So, one group has more variability than the other- but is there a way to see if the variability (based on st. dev) of the groups are significantly different? Am I making sense? Sorry, if this is a really stupid question...

    Really appreciate your input...
