I need to calculate the probability of at LEAST five shoppers entering the mall between 11 and 11:05, with them entering at an average of 120/hr
I already calculated the probability of EXACTLY five shoppers entering between 11 & 11:05
I used Poisson's probability distribution for it. coming up with mu of 10....(120/hr=2/min....5 min=10), x of 5...calculated all out to .0378
My question is, if I did the exactly 5 question correctly and what is the difference between these two questions equation wise? I am completely lost! Any help/hints would be incredibly appreciated! Thanks!
