never mind, I got it
Sorry if I'm creating too many threads, this will be the last (before the test).
I'm doing hypothesis test for multi-regression model, and I need help finding range for p-values. I do know what they mean.. I just need help locating right numbers.
Fobs = 1.45 ~ F(2, 45) distribution. My textbook says p-value for this, estimating with F(2, 30) is 0.1 < p-value < 0.5. I have no idea how to get there. Can anyone tell me? I'm using this table: http://img507.imageshack.us/img507/6981/91939434.jpg
never mind, I got it
so it's been a while and I'm having trouble again.. can anyone help?
source ------df-----F------p-value
humidity------2---4.297---< 0.05
temp---------2---4.102---< 0.05
humxtemp----4---1.438 ---> 0.20
error---------7
total---------35
Now, I don't know how we can obtain those p-value range. Can anyone also tell me how to determine numerator/denominator of F. Thank you so much.
i dont know if you still need this but heres a very informative video on how to find p-value from a F distribution
