I was wondering about reporting the effect size for a log-rank test.

I assume that this would be something like a relative-risk or hazard ratio, but I have no idea how to calculate this or if there is software that will do so.

If I need affect size should I abandon log-rank all together and use a Cox Proportional Hazards test?
