Kolmogorov smirnov test for goodness of fit

Hi,

I urgently need your advise!

I would need to know if I can use the Kolmogorov smirnov test for goodness of fit of distributions different form the Gaussian distributions.

I need to check if my data are well represented from a Gamma distribution or not. Looking at the plot t seems so but I need a goodness of fit test, I wander if I can use the Kolmogorov smirnov one.
