I hope you might be able to help. I've got two sets of data - absence data (y axis) and attainment (x axis) data. I've mapped this onto a graph and have come up with a r squared relationship of 0.5129.
What I want to do is to work out the following - if absence reduced by 1% what would be the expected corresponding increase in attainment?
I've got an equation of y = -0.0715x + 11.391.
Can someone help me work out how I might go about finding the result for this?
