Identify values for Binom Dist prob
This is my problem;
A city law enforcement official has stated that 20% of the items sold by pawn shops within the city have been stolen. Ralph has just purchased 4 items from one of the pawn shops. Assuming the city official is correct, and for x=the number of Ralph’s purchases that have been stolen, determine the following; P (x=0) P (2≤0) P (1≤x≤3) P (x≤3) If I have reasoned this out, I have a probability of success of 20% and my number of trials is 4. I have been reading and rereading so long, I have completely confused myself. Any help is greatly appreciated! |

Yes, you're correct.
Success=stolen is the part that confused you I'm guessing? Also part 2) needs correction. |
