Calculating Omega Squared

#1
Hi All

I have been battling with my stats over the last two months and have managed, by reading books and researching the web, to stumble through t test and multiple regression.

Now I am stuck on calculating omega squared. I have been working in SPSS and it doesnt have the facility to do this.

Can anyone help me please?

I would be really grateful as I am currenty tearing my hair out.

Best wishes

Why not just use your ANOVA output and compute Omega square with a hand-held calculator...it's not that difficult.

For example, in the context of a One-Way ANOVA it is:

w^2 = (SSB - (k-1)*MSW) / (SStot + MSW).

where k is the number of groups.
