Can I use a binary outcome variable in amos?

#1
I am working on a way to analyse longitudinal data using amos. I have one independent variable that is continuous and an outcome variable that is binary. Will this even work in Amos?
Further, it is possible that I will turn the continuous variable into two categories (depressed vs not depressed). I will then have two binary variables, and I am trying to predict one from the other at various time points over a year.
Given these two options for analysis, does anybody have any ideas for how to do this in Amos?

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you for reading this...
