Compare type of procedure with an outcome - which analysis is best?

Good morning,

I'm writing a medical meta-analysis, and I need help with a part of the statistical analysis.

I gathered articles from various authors, who performed a specific surgery either with method A, B, or C. More than one method could be used at the same time. I'd like to know if it is possible to correlate the methods used (or the most used by each author) with an outcome (for example long-term survival of patients or the percentage of patients with residual disease after surgery)
