Dependent samples?


My first post here.

I am analyzing a marketing survey. A snapshot of a subset of the data is attached. I am interested in finding out whether respondents who do not know company 2 are generally less aware or not. I have developed an awareness measure and calculated for all respondents. In the second table, are the differences between the means statistically significant?

The first set of means is for all respondents.
The second set of means is only for respondents who did not know Company 2 (a subset of all respondents).

What is the appropriate test?
