Forcast changes in th failure rate while considering feedback loop of failed "entity"

Hi there

How would you forecast changes in the failure rate of an assembly line if failed modules are fed back into the assembly line?

If a module fails, the modules would be dissembled and the failed parts removed, only the potential good parts are returned into the material stock. However, it might be that the potential good parts which are returned are more likely to fail again. Therefore, the assumption would be that the material stock would be more and more filled with bad parts, hence, the failure rate of the assembly line would increase further over time.

Do you have an idea how I could tackle this? I have tools such as Minitab or Excel.
