Good places to search for cleaned data sets

#1
Hi everyone,

I'm looking for data to use for a multiple regression project. Can anyone help me out? Not looking for anything in particular. Thanks.

If we you are interested in financial or macroeconomic data, Quandl is a good place. The data there are relatively clean. Also, next to a data set Quandl provides commands allowing one to download the data set programmatically into R, Python and some other software packages.

Many programs or packages have datasets in them that are relatively clean; iris, mass, framingham....

Also kaggle might have some.

Lastly, I know there are websites that archive datasets, but don't know there names.

Buckeye, would you be interested in a data set I collected for an undergraduate exam on MR? I think it has about 60 observations, 1 DV, 2 independent variables (1 QN, 1 QL at 2 levels). It was on NHL goal scorers. No missing data, no entry errors.

Specifically, I think SPSS has some data sets for "teaching" an overview on a given method, the help feature directs you there I think.
