Help!

#1
Hi, I'm currently undergoing a project whereby I have approximately 1200 data cases. I have a number of independent variables and I would like to form some equation from these variables to determine the probability of 3 different outcomes. These outcomes are exhaustive and hence their probabilities should sum to one. My education goes no further than binomial regression which is the sort of technique I'd like to use but for three outcomes obviously rather than 2. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance of any help

Multinomial logistic regression! a fairly straight-forward extension from 2 outsomes to 3. A simple google search will reveal plenty of details.
