HIGH LEVEL STATS:Can u help?

Hi,
I am strugglig with some questions- I hope that someone will be able to help???
1. Describe the relationship of the mEan, Median, and MOde to a frequency distribution. How do their locations change relative to positive and negative skew?

2. Which of the following data sets would you expect to have largest SD, without calculating the SD?

(a) 30, 40, 55, 70, 80 OR (b) 35, 45, 55, 65, 75

3. Caluculate the SE mean for the following sample using formula; SE mean =SD? (N-1).

SAMPLE= 15, 18, 19, 21, 27

4. If a General Practitioner calculated, separately, the mean weight and SD of male and female patients' on his list, what would you expect to happen to the mean and SD if the two sets of data were combined?

5. Complete sentences:

(a) The sum of z-scores is.....
(b) The shape of a z-score distribution calculated from the mean and SD is .....
(c) The shape of a z-score distribution calculated from a percentile rank is......

6. Explain the difference between IPSATIVE and NON_IPSATIVE scores. Give an example of an IPSATIVE-SCORED TEST.

For #4, the mean would go toward the "center" or in between the two distributions, and the standard deviation would increase.
