How to report simple effects analysis (SPSS)

#1
Hi,

I've been told that we can conduct simple effects analysis following interactions. Using SPSS, this requires writing syntax codes. I read this following document and more or less learned how to do it:

However, I am not sure how to report the results. Do you still report the F values, or just the P value?

For example, the attached is copied from the output in the pdf document linked above. It was testing the Simple Effect of Treatment within Levels levels of Time.

So, I suppose one would say that: Before treatment, there were not significant group differences (F (4, 45) = 0.44, p = .78), but after treatment, there was a significant difference between groups (F (4, 45) = 5.34, p < .05)?

Thanks.
