I have received stats from my university that I need to interpret but without guidelines. I need help with one in particular: It is about a questionnaire with 40 questions that have been divided into 4 factors (4 different learning behaviors). Correlation coefficients for those four factors were established and I am not sure how to interpret them. Out of the 5 significant correlations, 4 are negative and 1 is positive. What I am wondering is whether the positive correlation points towards too much similarity between the two factors so that they are possibly one rather than two factors.

Your assistance would be much appreciated!
