Is the answer to this problem correct?

#1
Q. You have an examination where there are multiple-choice questions. You have a choice of five answers, one is correct. If you had no idea of any of the answers, what score would you get if you were awarded one mark for a correct answer and there was no negative marking, but you had to make a choice of answers. There are 100 questions.
A zero
B could be negative
C 25%
D 20%
E cannot be calculated

I think the answer is E. ?

Since you only can get scores from 0 to 100, only A) or E) can possibly be correct. And since there is a possibility that A) does not happen, we cannot say that A) is correct. Therefore we know that E) has to be the right answer.
