Median, Conceptual

So the problem goes:
The 14 people in group A have median age 28.4 years. The 20 people in group B have median age 36.2 years. What can you say about the median of the combined group of 34?

So, considering the list of values x1,x2,...xn, both list has an even number of n values. Therefore, at leat n/2 values are in the interval (-infinity, M] and also at least n/2 values are in the interval [M,infinity). The values might overlap half and half, so can I just guesstimate by averaging the two medians? Or what else can I say about the median.

Basically, I think all you can say is that the median for the combined group will fall between 28.4 and 36.2
