Minitab analysis

Hi everyone,

I have the following problem, but am not sure what analysis I need to do. Can anyone help me and advice which tests I should do in minitab?

A real estate company is planning a new method of dealing with the sale of houses and this is being given a trial in a city of the country called A. A random sample was taken of 30 houses which were sold in A during a certain period of time, using the new method, and a similar sample from the city B, using the existing method. For each house the time, in days, between the sale being agreed and completion was recorded and the results are shown below. The new method is primarily being introduced to
give more work to surveyors and this data has been collected to determine the effect, if any, on time to completion.

City A:

Use Minitab to analyse the data and present a report on your findings.
Your report should be aimed at an intelligent layman who, whilst not a statistician ,has an understanding of basic statistical concepts. The report should contain different sections for the stages that you have been taught that a statistical analysis used, state clearly any necessary assumptions made as well as the final conclusions. Aim for quality rather than quantity; include all you consider relevant and important but do not go into details on associated theory or matters not directly relevant to this data set. Details at the level of Minitab instructions are not required. Credit will be given
for the quality of the presentation as well as for the analysis itself. The length of the report should be about 1000 to 1500 words plus appropriate diagrams and tables.
