Newbie here! Lost in statistics.....:confused: I really need someone to explain how to find a Confidence Interval for a correlation coefficient. What is Rho prime and how do I find it??? Please help.

Thanks Sooo much! According to my book, "the rho prime is the log transformed value corresponding to the hypothesized value of p". My problem was that my hypothesis was P = 0 or p does not = 0. There was no number to transform. My formula was :

z = r' - p' / population r' :eek:

So basically, I just need to convert my r to a z score and then work from there? I can do that. Thanks!!
