Okay this is probably really basic stuff, but having spending hours on it twice and failing badly twice this is my last chance so any help is appreciated. I have passed everything else including exams but this stuff really stumps and stresses me out.

Part A Section 2.
A Sports Psychologist was interested in the use of visual imagery techniques in the coaching of professional golfers. The sports performance literature predicts that task specific “coaching” should improve performance. A set of golfers were randomly split into three groups, one group using relaxation imagery (RI) another using imagery perspective (IP) and the third using Swing Based Imagery (SBI). They completed a set of putting and chipping tests and their cumulative accuracy of the strokes were calculated.

This study was designed to test the idea that changes made to an expressing face were detected differently. All faces had the same manipulation made to them, the facial expression changed in each condition. The study wished to find out of expressing faces were detected differently from neutral faces.
