I am studying risk for cardiovascular disease depending on two different biomarkers. The study -design is a case-control study and I have aproximately 300 cases and 300 controls.
I have done a logistic regression in SPSS 15 and I get odds-ratio´s for cardiovascular disease in for each quartile of the two biomarkers.
The figures are imaginary.
Biomarker 1
OR
Q1_____________Q2___________Q3______________Q4
1.0_____________1.3(0,9-1,7)___1.6(1.2-2,2)______2.8(2.2-4.2)
Biomarker 2
OR
Q1____________Q2____________Q3_____________Q4
5.5(3.5-7.0)____2.9(2.0-4.0)____1.8(1.3-2.4)_____1.0
Now I combine these the OR´s in the model to make a nice
table of the OR according to both biomarkers. Still imaginary figures.

Biomarker2
Q1__________________1.4___1.8____2.6_____9.0
Q2__________________1.3___1.5____2.3_____5.5
Q3__________________1.2___1.2____1.9_____3.8
Q4__________________1.0___1.1____1.5_____2.0
Now my question:
How do I calculate the CI for the OR´s in this table?
Regards,
Jonas
