R to latex

#1
I've recently learned to output R figures and tables as latex code that I can then easily call into a document. Given the popularity of things like the r package knitr out there on the web, I'm curious if people here who write statistical documents, including slides, are users of the various latex-outputting capabilities of r packages?

Hi ted,
I use knitr to prepare case studies for teaching tutorials. Most of the MVCs use both Latex and R. Trinker wrote an r package to make reports in html/latex/... (reports)
Here is one of my presentation using above package

thanks for that vinux, that's very good to know. So the presentation is an html file, and I guess you use a web browser when presenting it?

and to trinker, that's quite impressive

You are right. firefox and chrome support HTML5 presentation (I use linux not sure about window's world. I think IE support partially HTML5).
