Regression analysis - difference as dependent variable

Hello all,

I need help in understanding the regression result. The dependent variable is the travel distance difference within partners. The independent variable is age difference within partners. My question is how to interpret the association between age difference and travel distance difference.
travel distance difference is the distance difference between male and female partners (Male distance -Female distance)
The age difference is a dummy variable in three categories: 1. M older than F, 2. both equally aged and 3. F older than M. My reference category is both equally aged. As both dependent and independent are relative differences, I am finding difficulty in interpretation when there are negative or positive coefficients

Please help me in understanding

Thanks in advance

Less is more. Stay pure. Stay poor.
How big is your sample size? Can you standardize differences and just run a simple regression with age groups dummy coded? Why not use actual age differences instead of categories?
