Repeated measures question

Hello. I have taken day to day repeated measures in number of predictor variables as well as some other ordinal dvs. I want to meaure the effect of inter/intra variability of the predictors upon my dvs. What kind of analysis would you suggest me to use?

Well your title is what you need. Repeated measures to control and measure between and within group variability on outcome. Depending on your model you can examine model terms and ICC.
Thanks for the reply. I want to specify some things regarding my analysis. As I said I have some repeated like-diary measures which I consider level-1 predictors and can be nested into some other baseline measures I took at the beginning which I consider as level-2 predictors.So what i'll do is firstly identify the within-person fluctuations in an Intercept-only Model (Unconditional Model) and then keep adding factors in my model till i reach to an interaction between level-1 and level-2 factors model? Do you know if hierachical level modeling on spss requires any addon? Thanks!

Yes, I also typically run the empty model to see if clusters explain a significant amount of variability, then move forward.

I intend to use hierarchical level modeling to assess the interactions between some outcome and predictor variables in a repeated measures data-many observations across time per individual. However, I have almost 20 different predictor variables and i I can’t I can’t fit them all into the models, so I plan on using PCA or factor analysis to reduce the number of variables. After this step, do I have to use the factor scores as predictors in the hierarchical level models?
Can someone point me a guide on how to apply multilevel factor analysis on clustered repeated measures data please? Is SPSS eligible for this kind of analysis?
