Reporting the formula for a mixed model in a paper

I want to report the basic formula of my mixed model. Everywhere I look for a template the equations seem way too complicated for a journal whose focus is not the stats itself.

Before, I had a fixed effects logistic regression model, so I had a paragraph in my paper going something like: "...takes the form logit(Y)=b0+b1X1i+b2X2i where X1..." etc So now I want to include the random effects. How do I write that?

Less is more. Stay pure. Stay poor.
I agree this can be a difficult process. You have to tell us about the mode, l did you have random effecet and intercept. How many and what types of terms?
