should I use an anova?

I have numbers of individuals in 3 groups (p, i and g) over 14 different tide heights. These tide heights have been grouped into Low, Mid and High-water.

I want to find out if there is a difference in the proportions of each group between tide heights. I've used an ANOVA single factor, but that doesn't look right.

This sounds like a problem for a chi-squared test.
