Simulation Based Analysis

I was wondering if someone can guide me in the right direction on a simulation-based analysis problem I have for homework.

When using the triangular distribution formula to calculate my demand I am getting 24,527. I add that to my minimum quantity of 10,000 which brings me over the 30,000 maximum quantity given to me in the original question. Can someone please explain to me what I am doing wrong? I am using a minimum quantity of 10,000, an average of 18,000, and a maximum quantity of 30,000 to get my demand number.

It is hard to know what exactly you are doing without your providing more details, but it seems that the formula you are using for the expectation already accounts for the 10,000 shift.
