Spearman Correlation or Kendall

New Member
Hi there,

I am looking to look at the relationship between the no. of tourists visiting a a park (per trip) and the number of times they trample endangered species of flowers (per trip). Each trip is an independent event. The number of time a flowers was trampled on each trip was counted by a researcher within the group who was observing.

Should I run a Kendall or Spear man's Correlation?

All the best,

Can you provide an actually faux example of your data? Also, what is your sample size?

Thank you!
Sure no problem. Thank you for your help. (I cannot seem to upload an excel file). My sample size is 16 (if the individual trips are counted as each sample)

Is a correlation appropriate here?
