Hello everyone,
I used text box ranking with 10 answer options and the respondents were supposed to rank their Top 4 while leaving the other fields blank.
I've created separate variables for each option and coded the following way: TOP1=1; TOP2=2; TOP3=3; TOP4=4; Missing=999
Using custom tables I can see for each variable how many voted it as TOP 1, 2, 3, 4 or didn't vote it. Now I'd like a final ranking, meaning which option ultimately ranks on TOP 1, TOP 2 etc.
I first thought I can use the mean, but that doesn't make sense, as some options got like 50 votes and others only 5 or 10.
Does anyone know how I can create a ranking with SPSS?
Your help would be very appreciated,
Katja
