What statistical approach would you recommend for a data of the following pattern.
In a 12-hour window, each row/ID is an independent data set has multiple occurrences of an event with magnitude of event different at each occurrence and between IDs
for example:
ID 1 1-hour :10 units (magnitude) 3-hour :15 7-hour: 3
ID 2 1-hour: 5 2-hour:15 6-hour: 14 10-hour:12 12-hour:15
etc...
I want to determine a model/approach that accounts for frequency of occurrences with 12-hour period and also give weights to occurrences based on magnitude.
