# Statistically significant variable in MANOVA calculation -- how do I find the effect?

I ran a MANOVA analysis followed by a univariate analysis on the individual variables in the MANOVA -- predictor variables were Condition and Project, outcome variables were TE, ES, and MC. I got the following output:

Code:
    > summary(fitS, test="Pillai")
Df Pillai approx F num Df den Df Pr(>F)
Condition 1 0.075432 4.3241 3 159 0.005828 **
Project 1 0.250277 17.6928 3 159 5.839e-10 ***
Condition:Project 1 0.020816 1.1267 3 159 0.340051
Residuals 161

> summary.aov(fitS)
Response TE :

Based on the initial MANOVA, Condition had a statistically significant effect. However, since I don't see a statistically significant effect of Condition on any individual variables, I'm not sure what I can say the effect is. What do I need to do to find out what the actual effect of the Condition was?
