please some one should help me solve this.
Two four-sided die with numbers 1,…4 on the faces are thrown. Let the two discrete random variables U and V, be the sum of the outcomes for the individual die and their product respectively.
(i) What is the sample space for the possible outcomes?
(ii) Derive the joint, probability mass function p(U, V).
(iii) Find the marginal probability mass functions of U and V.
(iv) Are U and V independent? Specify the reason.
(v) Find E(U), E(V), Var(U), Var(V) and Cov(U, V).
