Trouble with Wilcoxon signed rank test - please help

#1
Firstly...I'm an absolute stats novice.

I am assessing the urinary toxicity of a procedure by comparing baseline and 6 week International Prostate Symptom Scores (IPSS) for 10 patients.

I am applying the wilcoxon signed rank test - however through all my "googling" there appears to be 2 ways to do it yielding me 2 different answers.

Do I sum the positive and negative ranks separately and take the lower value or do I sum them all together and use that value to compare to critical value table?

My Data is:

IPSS Baseline IPSS 6 weeks
15 16
5 4
11 14
2 0
3 3
14 10
9 13
18 21
7 2
5 18

Which gives me:
-1.5
1.5
3
-4.5
-4.5
6.5
-6.5
8
-9

So my potential values are either
19 (sum of positive ranks)
or -7 (sum of all ranks)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!
