Two Questions about quantitative study and level of measurement .
Q1. In my questionnaire design, I got a question " how frequent do people use the shopping apps ? and the answers are never, once a week, several times a week, once a day, several times a days." May I know if it is a ratio measurement or interval measurement?

Q2. I am doing a research with convenience sampling , non-probability sampling method , do I still need to test the four assumptions (1. randomness, 2.independent observation, 3.normality, 4.same variance) before I carry out the linear regression test on SPSS, or I only need to test all four assumptions on research with probability sampling method?

Less is more. Stay pure. Stay poor.

That variable would suck as a dependent variable in a linear reg.

Your sample design does not impact whether you need to check model assumptions.
