I take a sample of 100 out of a population with standard deviation 4 and mean 0.
What is the variance of the 100?

standard deviation = 4/(qsrt(100) =4/10
variance = (4/10)^2=4/25=0.16

Is that correct? Or am I doing something compeletely wrong?
sorry about my english

I mean.. I picked out 100 people from the population where the standard dev. is 4 and mean is 0.

I´m supposed to find the variance of the 100 people I picked out.
