2x2x3 Anova, what will it tell me?

Hi -
I would like to compare the means of a DV (emotional intelligence) between three different variables, those being;
1) Gender (are the emotional intelligence scores between males and females significantly different etc. etc.)
2) Group (again with two levels - one group with a disability, one without)
3) And age (for which there are three levels, age 4, 7 and 10).

So effectively - Are the emotional intelligence scores affected by gender (2 levels), group (2 levels) and age (3 levels).
Would a 2x2x3 Anova be the right choice for an analysis like this, providing the assumptions are met for an Anova?

thanks for any help

Assuming normality holds and the variances among your groups are homogeneous, then this type of ANOVA is a nice choice for an initial test.
