I am going to sound very ignorant and noobish but...
If one finds a few undergraduate intro stats books to be very enjoyable and exciting, is that enough to conclude that a career in stats would be an enjoyable career?
Or, are the college textbooks/classes deceiving and one finds out in the real world that stats is not so great after all for whatever reason.
