# Control Charts-R

hi, I'm trying to get the Control charts for the following scenarios:

a)An electronics company manufactures several types of cathode-ray tubes on a mass production basis. To monitor the process, 50 tubes of a certain type were randomly sampled from the production line and inspected each day over a period of 21 days.

I got the control chart using command qcc( crt, "type =c")
group 1 and 9 are out of control, but i can't take them out of analysis.
when I go qcc(crt[-1], type="c") i get an error, and i don't know how to delete both of the "out of control" values!

heres the txt file for this problem:
Code:
day no.defective sample.size
1 11 50
2 15 50
3 12 50
4 10 50
5 9 50
6 12 50
7 12 50
8 14 50
9 9 50
10 13 50
11 15 50
12 23 50
13 15 50
14 12 50
15 11 50
16 11 50
17 16 50
18 15 50
19 10 50
20 13 50
21 12 50
b)
A corporation that manufactures field rifles for the Department of Defence operates
a production line that turns out finished firing pins. To monitor that process,
an inspector randomly selects five firing pins from the production line, measures
their lengths (in inches) and repeats this process at 30-minute intervals over a
5-hour period.
I divide it into 5 sub groups using:
gps <- qcc.groups(maple, rep(1:10, each=5))
but it says: Error in qcc.groups(maple, rep(1:10, each = 5)) :
data and sample must be vectors of equal length
i really don't know what i'm to do with this one.

heres the txt file for the data
