Count data, NP, between group post hoc comparisons in SPSS

#1
Some simple advice on non-parametric analysis needed...

When comparing sets of count data, i.e. 6 treatments (independent var) applied to 30 samples per treatment, and the result is a count (dependent var) how are differences between treatments checked for in SPSS, i.e. a post hoc comparison (unequal variance assumed) after running the initial non-parametric > independent samples > Kruskall Wallis 1 way Anova test?

May be simple, but advice appreciated...

Looking through it seems like repeating two samples analysis Mann Whitney U with a Bonferroni correction is a way... Any thoughts on that out there?

Still searching for a way to set up parametirc post hoc multiple comparisons on SPSS 20
