Hi all,
I'm an undergraduate statistics major strongly considering a career in statistics, particularly with application to environmental problems. Do any of you currently hold government or non-profit jobs that involve statistics, or know anyone who does? Do you have advice about grad school (MS vs PhD, good programs etc.), skills to gain, etc.?
Thanks,
Robbie
Here's a bit more background on me:
Right now, my primary experience is with R statistical software. I'm working on a team of student statistical consultants this summer, and I'm going to be learning Python in the fall. In addition, I'm currently trying to teach myself GRASS GIS.
