# Need urgent help

Hi,
I have two variables, and simple regression analysis shows that these two variables are insignificant when I add 3 more variables along with the one I already had in simple linear regression, the same variable become significant with a different p, value, I dont know why?
Please help

For reference, I'll call these A and B.
when I add 3 more variables
I'm calling these X,Y,and Z.

When you hold X,Y, and Z constant, then increasing B by one unit has a significant effect on A. But just increasing B by itself (and allowing X,Y, and Z to vary) does not significantly affect A.

There's more than just B at work on A.

Thanks I had to turn in an assignment and I was confused so I just made an educated guess saying that since there are more variables added to the data thus the effect of one variable directly to predict A has been subsided.
I guess I will get away with this.
