Running independent samples t-test with missing values in columns

So I'm trying to run an independent samples t-test in SPSS with data acquired from qualtrics. Long story short, the survey/study was conducted using the between-subjects method. I'm trying to compare the response time of cursive typeface versus regular typeface regarding comprehension. The responses are randomized, so half of the data in the columns are missing. I can't run an independent samples t-test with missing values. How do I make SPSS ignore the missing data without excluding the entire column? Sorry, I'm not so acquainted with SPSS, and have been researching how to do this for hours now. If anyone could help, that would be appreciated. The attached image is what I'm referring to.

Nevermind, I think I got it. I just made three new columns and put the data in along with a column for the condition. Please let me know if this is the incorrect way of doing this. New columns.PNG
