Urgent - Kaplan-Meier plot - how to predict survival at different time points

#1
Hi,

I've conducted a kaplan-meier survival plot relating the event (death), to time (varying follow-up times around 2 years). The output has shown me a mean, and median survival time with confidence intervals.

I'd like to represent my findings as "expected" survival at 1 and 5 years. How do I do this in spss? (Due in today)

Thank-you very much for your help.

Kind Regards,
Ranga

Erm...Not sure how to predict survival at time points...
May be, fit a logisitic regression model on the censored variable with duration of follow ups as independent variable.? Not sure at all..

Nah - there doesn't seem to be a reason to deviate from the standard KM techniques. But I don't use SPSS so I can't really give any guidance.

hello its very easy. you click option in the window kaplan meir and then click survival tables
in the output the survival table shows you all the events and in "estimate" you can see, the % of people who survived
